About BlessUp

Faith before scrolling — and the people behind it.

Our story

BlessUp started with a familiar morning: alarm off, phone up, and twenty minutes gone to feeds before the day even began. We kept saying we'd pray more, read more Scripture, be more present — and kept handing the first minutes of every day to an algorithm instead.

So we built the tool we needed. BlessUp locks your most distracting apps until you've prayed. It doesn't shame you or pile on notifications — it simply reorders the morning: a short prayer and a daily verse first, everything else after. Two minutes with God before two hours with a feed.

BlessUp is built by Relative Industries, LLC, a small independent studio. No outside investors, no data harvesting, no growth-at-any-cost playbook — just a product we use ourselves every morning.

Who makes BlessUp

Dom — Co-founder. Dom builds the product: the app itself, Prayer Lock, and the writing you'll find on this site. He cares most about making the prayer habit effortless enough that it actually survives a busy week.

Adam — Co-founder. Adam shapes BlessUp's prayers and Scripture experience, and keeps the app honest to its mission: that technology should serve faith, not compete with it.

Our editorial standards
